Sara Martín será una de las grandes protagonistas de la inminente edición del DanzaTTack, Festival Internacional de Danza y CineDanza, que en el presente 2024 vuelve a celebrar la mayor parte de su programación en el municipio de El Sauzal, en es esta ocasión del 10 al 19 de mayo. Sara Martín residente en Panamá, pero natural de La Palma, llega a Tenerife con dos trabajos en su maleta. Por un lado, el estreno de ‘Respira’, una pieza de cine-danza en co-producción con el propio festival y rodada en Panamá con el apoyo Ciudad del Saber al ceder sus instalaciones para el rodaje: “En este caso ponemos el foco en la salud mental. Nos mantenemos inmersos en nuestras propias peleas internas y, eso que nos aísla como individuos, es un factor común en la sociedad que habitamos”.
Por otro, ‘La Silla’, pieza de teatro físico y danza contemporánea en la que se investiga la relación entre cuerpo y objeto cada vez más estrecha gracias a los avances tecnológicos y la virtualidad. Creada en 2022 con giras en diferentes festivales de carácter internacional por países como Panamá, Italia y España. Ambas se presentan el 10 de mayo.
Sara Martín es licenciada en arte dramático, con formación en teatro físico, danza contemporánea y aérea. Ella se define como una “intérprete y creadora independiente que entiende el movimiento como principal lenguaje comunicador. La creación de mis piezas parte de una necesidad. Siempre es empujada por alguna experiencia o situación que se me complica entender”.
En esta edición de DanzaTTack también estará compartiendo el taller ‘Contenido del Movimiento’, el día 18 de mayo, proyecto dirigido a quienes se inicien en la creación escénica en cualquiera de sus disciplinas, con especial atención en el movimiento.
Define el escenario como “el terreno de juegos ideal. Ese espacio donde vale todo y sucede la magia, que te permite viajar en el tiempo, ser niña de nuevo, transformarte, tirar los escudos y mostrarte vulnerable. Ante el resto, un lugar que deja observar la vida creando complicidad con el espectador, dentro de todo el artificio y códigos ya establecidos. Viendo el momento que vivimos ahora con las redes la imagen y demás, creo que salir al escenario (sea cual sea éste) es de los actos más valientes y sinceros.
